Water Well Inspection Services

When you are buying a home with a water well system, you may need to perform a well inspection. Some mortgage companies require that a water test is performed on a home that has a well. This however doesn’t take into effect the water well system as a whole. Our certified technicians at Abbey Water Well Service, Inc. will not only perform a water safety test and pump flow test for the existing system, but will also inspect the operation of the water well and its components. We will provide a detailed report with well description, condition and functionality of well, also a quote for repairs if needed.

Production / Performance Test

  • Pump Check Abbey’s techs will start motor and check pump for proper operation, GPM output and any variances
  • PSI TankInspect PSI tank to insure it is operating properly and is not water logged or make sure the bladder is not ruptured.
  • Pump & Tank Operation CheckVerify both the pump and tank operate properly at time of inspection. Run complete electrical test of system.
  • Collect Test Water SampleUpon request a water sample will be taken at the location and sent to a State Certified Environmental Laboratory to check for bacterial contamination and safe nitrate levels. Additional water test available upon request, Arsenic, Hardness, PH level, Boron, Iron and Manganese are some examples.

  • If I could give them 100 stars, I would. I called just before closing on a Friday evening because my water pump went out (go figure, right before we were about to leave for the weekend!) and they walked me through, step-by-step to check and fix my problem which was thankfully, a simple fix, due to some dead ants which died in between the electrical contacts and needed to be cleaned out.
